Description
New and unread mail can be surfaced as desktop notifications from local mailboxes, POP, IMAP, or GNOME Online Accounts using the current Git version. It is useful for users who want lightweight mail alerts and newer service changes.
This is a notification service, not a complete email client. It may use mail account credentials or session access, so configure only trusted accounts and consider what message metadata appears on screen.
