Description
Extracts text from Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and RTF files through command-line tools. It is useful for indexing, scripts, search workflows, and reading content from older document formats.
Use it when plain text is enough and layout does not matter. Complex formatting, embedded objects, and newer document features may not be preserved.
