Description
Filenames can be checked for compatibility with older SYSV and MS-DOS limits. It is useful when preparing source archives, media, or project trees that must work on constrained filesystems.
Compatibility checks do not rename files automatically unless scripted around them. Review reports before packaging or copying files to legacy systems.
