Source files for Gradle 8 can be inspected or used by packagers and developers. It is useful for debugging, auditing, patching, or understanding current Gradle internals.
Source packages are not the normal runtime interface. Build or patch them only in controlled workspaces where generated artifacts can be reviewed.
