IRC chat becomes available through a full graphical Qt client with KDE integration enabled. It is useful for users who still participate in IRC communities, support channels, or project rooms.
IRC is public or semi-public depending on the network and channel. Avoid sharing private information, and remember that logs may be kept by clients, servers, or other participants.
