SIP calling can run through the AppImage build of a desktop voice and video softphone.
This package is useful when a portable upstream-style Linphone build is preferred. It provides the calling application and bundled runtime pieces rather than a minimal system-integrated package.
AppImage communication apps still use microphones, cameras, network access, and account credentials. Review device permissions and call security settings.
