Description

Paths can be colorized consistently in terminal output by applying LS_COLORS rules.

This binary package is useful for shell prompts, scripts, and tools that want file-type colors outside the plain ls command. It is a terminal formatting helper, not a theme manager.

Colored output improves scanning but can hide meaning for some users or logs. Keep plain output available when accessibility or parsing matters.

How to run

lscolors

Commands: lscolors
