Files and data streams can be compressed or decompressed very quickly when speed matters more than maximum compression ratio. It is useful for backups, logs, build artifacts, and software that needs fast lightweight compression.
This git package may include newer development code. Compression tools can overwrite output files when used incorrectly, so check command options and paths before batch processing important data.
