Description
Desktop menus can expose the sequence-alignment tool through a launcher file for users who prefer graphical application discovery. It is useful as desktop integration for an otherwise command-line bioinformatics workflow.
This package does not add new alignment algorithms by itself. It only improves how MAFFT is exposed in desktop environments, and the underlying scientific workflow still uses MAFFT.
