Mages is an experimental Matrix chat client built with Compose Multiplatform and a Rust core powered by matrix-rust-sdk. The flatpak version has limitations with screen sharing and video cam access, which work better on manual downloads / aur builds. Features include: Room list with previews and unread counts Room and thread timelines (text, media, polls) End-to-end encryption via matrix-sdk Spaces browser Presence and privacy settings Note: This is experimental software. Things may break, but encryption is handled by the battle-tested matrix-rust-sdk.
