Description
OpenStreetMap data can be converted into map files usable by Garmin GPS devices. Mappers, travelers, and GIS hobbyists use mkgmap when they want custom Garmin maps from OSM extracts.
It is a map generation tool, not a live navigation app. Output quality depends on OSM data, style rules, routing options, and device compatibility.
