Installs version 1.x brush data used by MyPaint and other applications based on libmypaint. These files define brush behavior, texture, and response for digital painting tools.
Use it when an older MyPaint-compatible application expects the v1 brush collection. It does not add a separate drawing app; it supplies brush presets for compatible software.
