Bibliography items from Zotero can be browsed from a small Qt desktop tool instead of switching back to the full reference manager. This helps writers, students, and researchers check saved sources while working in another document.
It is a graphical helper for an existing Zotero library, not a replacement for Zotero itself. The useful change after install is faster lookup of references; privacy depends on the documents and citation data already stored in the user's Zotero setup.
