Description
SFZ instruments can be played without loading a DAW plugin by using the standalone development build. This is useful for musicians testing sample libraries, MIDI input, or JACK-based routing outside a full production session. It still depends on local audio configuration, so JACK and device setup can affect whether sound is produced.
