Description
Songs can be identified from microphone or audio-file input using an unofficial open-source Shazam client. Users launch `songrec` to recognize music from Linux with a GTK interface or command-line workflow. Audio snippets are sent for recognition, so microphone capture and private recordings need consent and care.
