Description
MIDI playback and music production can use a General MIDI soundbank with balanced instrument samples. This helps synthesizers, sequencers, notation tools, and games produce audible instruments when no hardware sound module is available.
The package provides sound data rather than a standalone music app. Users normally select it inside a synthesizer or receive it through software that needs a GM soundfont.
