File metadata can be indexed and searched through the Strigi framework used by KDE-era search components. This package builds the framework from the Katana/Strigi source with ffmpeg and Exiv2 support. It is mostly a support framework rather than a standalone app; indexing tools can inspect filenames, media metadata, and document contents depending on how callers use it.
