Sieve filtering rules on remote IMAP servers can be managed from Thunderbird through the ManageSieve protocol. Mail users and administrators install the extension when server-side filters need editing without a separate tool. Server credentials, filter scripts, deletion or forwarding rules, and TLS settings can affect all incoming mail.
