Desktop notes can be kept in a modern Qt6 rewrite of the Tomboy note-taking workflow. This prebuilt tomboy-ng package is for users who want linked personal notes, search, and local note storage without the old GNOME Tomboy stack. Notes may contain private information, so backups and sync locations should be chosen deliberately.
