Description

Silent sections in audio or video files can be detected and removed through a console interface backed by ffmpeg. unsilence is useful for tightening lectures, recordings, podcasts, and screencasts.

Work on copies of important media. Silence detection can cut useful pauses, desync captions, change timing, overwrite outputs, or process private audio and video that should not be shared.
