Adds CDDB lookup support to VLC, enabling looking up audio CD metadata from CDDB-compatible sources. It is useful when VLC needs this specific codec, output, device, discovery, or media-access feature.
This package is a VLC plugin, not a standalone media player. It becomes useful through VLC, and untrusted media or network sources should still be handled carefully.
