Supplies the maps, media, and other data files needed by the Xonotic game package. These files make the game content available to the engine, but they are not a separate game launcher and are normally installed as part of Xonotic.
Keep it installed when Xonotic depends on it or when repairing a missing-data installation. The same age and online-play considerations as the main game still matter because this package contains content used by that shooter.
