Supplies data files used by the Yoshimi software synthesizer, such as supporting resources needed for sounds, presets, or runtime behavior. These files make the synthesizer usable but are not a separate instrument launcher.
Keep it installed when Yoshimi or its plugin packages require it. Removing data files can leave the synthesizer without expected resources or make presets unavailable.
